How it all began

Fir-Darrig Holiday Cottages Ireland actually originates from a first time family holiday which we spent in Ireland in the early Nineties. We were very  impressed by the country and its people. The landlady of the cottage we rented asked us to pack some of our enthusiasm in our suitcase and do some advertising for her place in Germany. So we did. Soon after many of her neighbours and friends also joined us for marketing their houses.

Since 1997 Fir-Darrig Holiday Cottages Ireland has been letting selected cottages in County Kerry. All houses offer great sea views and are located in quiet locations near or directly at the Atlantic Coast – away from the hustle and bustle, noise and light polution.

We are familiar with the houses and have a good relationship with the owners. The descriptions as well as the pictures of the houses are made by us and truly reflect the actual situation. Our guest get exactly what they see on the web page. We don´t like fake packages either. We love supporting you in finding a nice holiday home for the most precious vacation time. “When you are happy, we are happy”
